Mr. Smedberg is a founding Partner of Axion. After serving in the US Army, Mr. Smedberg completed the Insulation Apprentice Program for Local 6. Mr. Parkes has been in the specialty contracting business for over 36 years. Dexter has recently joined our estimating team at Axion and is based out of our Maine branch. Dexter has seven years of mechanical field experience from residential, commercial and the industrial market. Dexter started his career in the field doing residential mechanical service before making the jump into the commercial field and industrial field as a journeyman and them foreman. Marissa is a human sciences and services graduate from the University of Rhode Island, Marissa has over 10 years of retail management experience, managing stores around the MA/RI area. She joined our team in 2020, transitioning her customer service knowledge from retail into the construction industry. She assists the project managers and controller with completing accounting tasks, including managing job invoices, completing change order requests, and approving time and material slips for various jobs, as well as performing administrative tasks for the office.
